Single-Serving Photo

Happy Birthday to Single-Serving Photo!

Sunday, September 28th, 2008

Believe it or not, it has been precisely three years since the very first post on this blog. It started out as a place for me to post experimental photos and has since evolved into a great platform for sharing the information and inspiration that I come across all the time.

To all of you out there reading this now, thank you! I wouldn’t write all of these articles if nobody read them, and your occasional feedback has been really great, whether praise or critique.

If any of you have fond memories to share or ideas for where you’d like to see this blog go in the future, as always, your comments are more than welcome. It’s been a pretty great three years; stick around, there’s more to come.

All New, But Also the Same

As I mentioned several days ago, I made plans to move this blog as well as my gallery to a new host, one with (hopefully) a better reliability track record. Last night I bit the bullet and made the final move, so right now you’re reading this article as served by my virtual server at Slicehost.

I could geek out for hours about the process and how remarkably smooth it was, but instead I will simply say that it’s over and I’m looking forward to getting back to writing actual articles.

Sorry if the site happened to be down while you were trying to read it!
